The Wirrina Cove Holiday Park is the venue for the Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots festival.  Located on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, in a picturesque valley with a creek, the park is approximately 90 kms south of Adelaide. The ocean and the Wirrina Cove Marina are just a 20 minute walk away.

The park boasts 40 acres of grassed and shady camping areas, 116 powered sites, chalet-style cabins, an oval, a kiosk and inside dining area (with excellent coffee and take-away food), gas BBQs, restrooms with showers, a laundry, tennis courts, and walking trails with dramatic ocean views. Small camp fires are permitted (within CFS guidelines).

The park has oodles of space for children to run, ride bikes, fly a kite, and roam safely away from main roads. And you can bring your well behaved dog!

The coastline near Wirrina Cove features many attractive beaches and coves, great for swimming, fishing, boating, snorkelling, diving, and walking. The nearest swimming beach —should you wish to brave the September temperatures—is at Second Valley, a 10 minute drive away.

Normanville and Yankalilla are the nearest local towns for food and grocery supplies, petrol, cafes, hotels, surf shops, op-shops, newsagents, and a doctor’s surgery (Yankalilla).

There are many accommodation options in the surrounding areas, but if you want to be in the heart of the festival, we recommend making a booking at the Wirrina Cove Holiday Park.
