Where is Wirrina? How do I get there?

Drive to the festival

The main route if you’re driving from Adelaide is:

Head south on the Southern Expressway  (M2) for 30 kms, and then merge onto Main South Road (B23) for 50 kms. Turn right onto Paradise Drive—there is a large entrance gate signposted to Wirrina Resort and Wirrina Cove Holiday Park. Watch for the signposted right hand turn-off to the Holiday Park about 1/2 a km down Paradise Drive.

Public transport

It is possible to get to the festival by public transport.

Sealink have a once-per-day coach service from Adelaide to Cape Jervis, which stops at Wirrina Cove. It leaves the Adelaide Central Bus Station at 3.45pm and arrives at Wirrina at approximately 5.05pm. The bus will drop you on the main road at the entrance gate to Wirrina Cove. There is a 1.3 km walk to the Campground and the festival from there. Please note that it will be getting dark at this time. If you let the festival crew know that you’ll be arriving on the bus, we will arrange for a few cars to meet people at the bus stop to ferry you to the campground. Send us an email at wirrinabluegrass@gmail.com to let us know.
